Hello, my name is Dr. CeSea Lawson. I have bred Chinese Shar-Pei for over 20 years in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I have shown dogs for over 28 years, in both the confirmation and obedience rings. During that time I have produced 8 Champions and received over 25 obedience titles (CD, CDX, Schitzhund, etc.) on various breeds (Cocker Spaniels, Chinese Shar-Pei, Chinese Crested, Giant Schnauzers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Bichon, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, Labrador Retrievers, ...).

Midewiwin (me-day-we-win) is an Ojibwa word implying "The Grand Medicine Society" of the Ojibwa Indian. The Ojibwa are found in Canada and the upper regions of the United States. I am a cross of Ojibwa, Cherokee, and German. My grandmother was a full blood Cherokee and part of the Paint clan. My grandfather was a full blood Ojibwa Indian and a Mide (Medicine Man). My mother is German with some Spanish decent.  I have lived in every state west of the Mississippi, half of the states east of the Mississippi, various countries in Europe, and several islands in the Caribbean.

I do not breed to just produce puppies for sale. I breed to help improve the quality of the breed, for better temperament, health and show purposes. All my puppies are raised inside with lots of personal attention.

Most breeding dogs have finished their Championship titles prior to ever being entered into my breeding program. I follow the CSPCA code of ethics, as well as my own. All breeding dogs are OFA certified prior to breeding, and DNA registered. All breeders are, also, free of any signs of entropion.

All puppies are sold privately and require references from perspective buyers. We do not sell breeder puppies. Puppies used for breeding are only show quality, all pet quality puppies are sold with a spay/neuter contract. All puppies are guaranteed against hip dysphasia.

All puppies are separated from any outside contact until they have received their second vaccine and third deworming. Dewclaws are removed within a few days of birth. Few, if any, puppies ever require tacking of eyes.

I do not negotiate on the price of puppies, so please do not ask. Anyone that tries to negotiate on the price of a puppy will find that they are no longer able to purchase a puppy from me at all.
